But when he (Peter) saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me. ~ Matthew 14:30
Peter was doing just fine until he began to doubt. He was actually walking on the water like Jesus. Peter was flowing in the supernatural power of God. You and I can flow in the supernatural as long as we don’t allow doubt in. When Peter started doubting he began to sink. The same thing is true with us; when we let doubt in we begin to go down.
Doubt will cause you to sink. It will rob you of God’s best. Doubt is actually believing it could be one of two different outcomes. James called it being double-minded. A double-minded man is a person who believes God may answer, then again He may not. When we are in this condition we’re told not to expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Make your mind up today to be single-minded. Someone who only believes that it could be one outcome. That outcome is that God will perform what He has promised!
